Olga Mortensen

Olga Mortensen is a Singapore-based artist whose work reflects a rich international background and a deep connection with global cultures. Originally from Eastern Europe, she has made Singapore her creative home, drawing inspiration from its vibrant multicultural environment.

With a foundation in fashion and interior design, Olga’s artistic style is influenced by the visual elegance of French impressionism, Eastern European constructivism, and the golden era of Scandinavian art. Her extensive travels and experiences across countries have honed her sensitivity to color, light, and form, which she masterfully integrates into her paintings.

Guided by a clear vision and positive energy, Olga believes in the transformative power of beauty to uplift and inspire. Her art adds warmth and harmony to contemporary life, inviting viewers to find sweetness and meaning in everyday moments.

She refined her skills at the British Higher School of Design. Her art historical knowledge was further enriched through studies at Sotheby’s Institute of Art. Olga has also trained under prominent artists from the Union of Professional Artists through art schools and private mentorships.

Previously, Olga devoted most of her creative energy to commissioned projects and private collections, choosing to showcase her work publicly only in recent years.

Her artistic journey was shaped largely outside the traditional gallery system, through private collaborations with collectors, designers, and cultural foundations focused on beauty, harmony, and heritage preservation.

As a woman artist with a multicultural background and a strong belief in cross-cultural understanding, she often explores themes of emotional resilience, nature, and quiet connection—values that resonate with audiences seeking depth beyond trend.
